The Chapter 13 is the person that’s appointed by the court to oversee the case. The Chapter 13 trustee will preside over the meeting of creditors. They’ll ask you questions about your income, your expenses, your assets, and liabilities. They will also make a recommendation to the court of whether your Chapter 13 plan should be approved. While you are making your payments, you will make them to the Chapter 13 trustee. The trustee will then disperse that money to your creditors pursuant to your approved Chapter 13 plan.
