Joseph B. Battaglia

A native to Florida, Mr. Battaglia earned his Juris Doctor at Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Active in various student organizations in law school, Mr. Battaglia was elected by his peers to serve as Treasurer of Barry's Student Bar Association. Also while in law school, he worked closely with the Internal Revenue Service as a student coordinator of its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), assisting low-income taxpayers with preparing and filing tax returns. In both years of his volunteer service in VITA, Barry University was awarded the Outstanding VITA Site award by the American Bar Association. He is a graduate of Sarasota High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida.

Mr. Battaglia draws from experience gained during legal internship work with the State of Florida's Department of Children & Families Services. Prior to joining The Golden Law Group, Mr. Battaglia counseled clients as an attorney in solo practice. He is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Tax Court.
